The Main Terminal which is also called AirAsia Bangkok Terminal features check-in countries, a security screening area, customs & immigration counters, and baggage claim.

AirAsia Arrival Terminal at BKK Airport
Arriving passengers at the AirAsia Bangkok airport terminal will also disembark at the Satellite 1 building. They connect by the APM shuttle train to the Main Terminal for immigration, baggage clearance, and transportation.

Upon arrival, passengers need to head to Level 1 for immigration.
At Level 2 there is a baggage claim counter. The LED screen will display the carousal area as per the flight number.

The AirAsia check-in counter at AirAsia Bangkok Airport Terminal opens 3 hours before departure for any scheduled flight. However, the assistance regarding customer service starts at 5.30 a.m. and goes on until 1:30 am.
There’s a self-service baggage-in counter that opens 3 hours before departure for domestic and international travel at the departure hall of the AirAsia BKK terminal.
For the Security Check lane, passengers need to proceed to gates S101-S128 on the upper floor. Passengers need to pass the security in order to proceed with the immigration.
Fast-track security screening is available at the Main Terminal for Business Class, passengers with reduced mobility, pregnant mother, passengers traveling with infants, and senior passengers over 70.
Lost & Found Desk Assistance
Passengers who find their items damaged, or delayed must report it at the Baggage Office, Arrivals Halls.
You must report immediately upon or within 7 days from the date of arrival. Upon reporting the incident you will receive the Property Irregularity Report (PIR).
To track the latest upgrade, the Central Baggage team at the AirAsia Bangkok terminal will be in touch with the passenger to provide updates regarding your case.
Please note that any items that are left behind at the security checkpoint of the Main Terminal will not be handed over to AirAsia. Rather the airport authority will keep the items in their custody.
Also, any bags which is delayed for at least 7 days will be declared missing for domestic travel, and 14 days for international travel. In that case, to file a claim with AirAsia, passengers must submit the following documents –
- Copy of guest passport / ID
- Copy of guest bank book/statement
- SWIFT/BCB/IBN code (for international transactions)
- An authorization letter for 3rd party account.
